Pizza Party…

Do you love pizza as much as I do? It’s a great go to meal when having over guests too. Last Friday we finally had a chance to catch up with our friends Emily & Jon. They brought the salad and wine, while we created the pizzas.

Since it was a Friday during Lent, we created two different types of pizzas without meat. One was a mediterranean pizza and the other was tomato, basil and mozzarella. We used store-bought whole wheat crusts as the base. (Remember balanced eating!)

Mediterranean pizza ingredients: kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, quartered artichokes, red onion, and feta cheese.

The second pizza was tomato and mozzarella with fresh basil sprinkled over the pizza after baking.

After some chatting and a glass of wine our pizzas were baked to perfection!

It was a great night of pizza, wine, and just catching up with good friends!
