It’s been a wet & windy week so far in Buffalo, but it looks like the weather may have finally broke for the better (knock-on-wood). Despite the rain it’s been a busy week in these parts after work, so thought I’d break it down for you…
Mexican Monday-
Due to the rainy, miserable weather so Sabrina & I decided to skip out on our running group then instead headed to the gym for a 45 minute sweat session. (Have I told you how much I love Nike Training Club?) After the kick booty workout it was off to do the weekly grocery shopping, maybe not a fun night but a productive one.
The good news of Monday night was the amazing quesadillas that were made left over fajita ingredients. AMAZING!!! I love mexican!
Typical Tuesday-
A more normal night of running and a workout followed by a simple meal. Though I didn’t snap a photo we had some homemade chicken fingers and quinoa. The fun for the night we found when the husband and I set to work creating homemade birthday cards for my niece and nephew. May is a big birthday month…
Wicked Wednesday-
Anyone up for a mid-week ladies night? The girls and I met after work for dinner and drinks. We even celebrated my friend Brenda’s engagement with a shot of Chocolate Whipped Cream flavored vodka. (Can you say yummy?) After a fabulous dinner we headed to the main event WICKED.
After learning the back story about Oz I’m now a supporter of the Wicked Witch- she is just as good as Glinda!
Tasty Thursday-
Tonight we have a planning meeting, a very tasty one. My husband is on the Board of Directors for the Taste of Buffalo and I am part of the logistics team. If you love food you’d love this event!
Alright and with that I’m off….
Do you DIY birthday cards? Have you ever been to a food festival?
